Detailed thoughts on the Engwe P26

I recently bought the Engwe P26 and have been using it for my daily commute. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. It arrived well-packaged, though the box was quite large and heavy. Assembly took me about an hour following the manual and a quick online video; everything fit together properly. The ride quality is smooth, and the long-range battery is fantastic for my longer trips, often lasting several days between charges. The integrated lights are bright enough for night riding. My only minor point is that the display can be a bit hard to read in direct sunlight. Overall, for a commuter e-bike, it's a solid performer and feels robust.

My new Engwe EP-2 Pro

I got the Engwe EP-2 Pro a few weeks ago and it's been pretty fun. It folds up which is super handy for my small apartment. Riding it to work is way better than the bus. Assembly wasn't too bad, just watch a YouTube video. Overall, happy with it, makes getting around much easier.

Good deal on the C20 Pro

I was looking for a good e-bike but didn't want to break the bank. I grabbed the Engwe C20 Pro during their spring sale and saved a decent amount. Shipping was free, which was a nice bonus. The bike feels sturdy and rides nicely for the price I paid. Definitely felt like I got good value for my money, especially with the discount.

Love my new M20!

I just got my Engwe M20 and I absolutely love it! It's so much fun to ride, zipping around town has never been easier. The fat tires make it feel super stable, even on rougher paths. And the dual battery option is amazing, I can go everywhere without worrying about running out of power. This bike is fantastic, I'm so glad I bought it!

Good bike, some delivery issues

I purchased the Engwe L20, and the bike itself is solid for the price. It handles well and the battery life is decent for my commutes. However, delivery took about 9 days to reach my address in Manchester, which was a bit longer than I hoped. The packaging could also use some improvement as there was a minor scuff on a fender, though nothing major. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the shipping delay, which I appreciated. Good value, but shipping could be quicker.

Can you use more than one discount code on the Engwe website? Got a student discount but also saw a newsletter signup thing.

K Kate Reyes 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code per order. Tried it before and it just let me pick one or the other. Most sites are like that these days.

I don't think so. Usually, their codes are 'cannot be combined with other offers' kind of deal. You'll probably have to pick the best one for your purchase at checkout.

Hey guys, quick question about the Engwe bikes, specifically the EP-2 Pro. Are they actually good quality or just another cheap e-bike that falls apart after a few months?

M Marcus Q. 2 months ago
Mine's been solid for over a year now, got the EP-2 Pro. Definitely punches above its weight for the price. Haven't had any major issues, just regular wear and tear stuff.

Yeah, I think they're pretty decent. Not like super premium, but for the money, you get a lot. Friend has one too and loves it for his commute. No complaints from him either.

Anyone know how long shipping usually takes for an Engwe bike to, say, Manchester? Need it by a certain date ideally.

M Mark 2 months ago
I'm in Birmingham and mine arrived in about a week and a half, maybe 10 days max? Was surprisingly quick actually for a bigger item.

Could vary a bit but I think their UK warehouse ships pretty fast. I'd expect around a week to 10 days for most places in England. They're usually pretty good about getting them out.

Does Engwe UK ever do big sales? Like, I'm thinking about getting the X26, but want to know if I should wait for Black Friday or something.

M Mark Walsh 2 months ago
Oh for sure! They always have Black Friday deals, and Boxing Day too. Sometimes up to 30% off, which is a big saving on a bike. I got my Engine Pro during a spring sale, which was also pretty decent.

Yeah, they do seasonal sales. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and even around spring cycling season. Worth waiting if you're not in a rush, you can usually snag a good £100-£150 off, or more on bigger sales.

I'm looking at the Engwe L20, but also considering a Rad Power Bike. How do these Engwe models stack up against Rad Power Bikes? Is one clearly better than the other?

R Raj Z. 3 months ago
Rad Power Bikes are solid, but honestly, Engwe often gives you more bang for your buck in terms of features for the price. Especially the fat tire models. Rad can feel a bit overpriced sometimes.

I checked both out and ended up with an Engwe X26. Found it had similar or better specs for a good few hundred quid less. Rad Power Bikes are good, but I think Engwe sometimes offers better value, especially if you're looking at the more off-road capable ones.
